Contribution to climate change: Mobilizes Brazilian society to protect public forests in the Amazon and the rights of Indigenous peoples, Quilombola communities, riverine populations, and extractivists—directly defending the largest tropical carbon stock on the planet and contributing to climate change mitigation.

Use of technology: A digital mobilization platform that organizes online signature campaigns for people’s legislative initiatives, shares educational content, and connects activists through regional WhatsApp groups. It leverages digital tools for engagement, activist training, and the dissemination of information about environmental policies and territorial rights.

Examples of application:

  • Signature collection for the Standing Amazon Bill, which proposes allocating public forests to those who know how to protect them best: Indigenous peoples, traditional communities, and Conservation Units.

  • Environmental education and mobilization campaigns across Brazil, both online and through in-person events.

  • Formation of a national network of activists and organizations to advocate for public policies and defend the forest and its peoples, strengthening the fight against the climate crisis.
