• Contribution to climate change: Continuously monitors biogeochemical cycles, gas flow, humidity, temperature and other atmospheric and environmental parameters, providing essential data to understand the role of the Amazon in the global climate system.

• Use of technology: It uses an advanced infrastructure consisting of meteorological, chemical and biological sensors installed in the tower, as well as mobile laboratories and a monitoring network that collects high-frequency data. This technology allows for precise measurement of carbon, water and energy flows, as well as observation of complex atmospheric processes, such as cloud formation and pollutant transport.
